FOCUS ON THE FAMILY

On Saturday 14-05-2016, Edith Benson Babies’ Home was visited by Focus on the Family, a Christian based organization, whose mission it is to promote the wellbeing of children and families. Kudzai Muhwati of Focus on the Family, led this initiative to provide the children and staff at Edith Benson Babies’ Home with a Fun Day, including the provision of lunch and snack, as well as a donation of items required by the facility for the care of the children.

EBBH Social Worker had the opportunity of sharing information with the members from Focus on the Family, in order to promote awareness regarding Child Welfare Durban and District, Residential Services offered by the Agency and, more specifically, regarding Edith Benson Babies’ Home.

A most enjoyable and fruitful day was had by all concerned.
