The greatest gift we can give children is an education.
Educated children have an advantage in any endeavor they make, and their hopes for a brighter future can be realized.
The cost of educating children is ever increasing and places a huge financial demand on parents, and care givers. Our Organisation is responsible for educating approximately 300 scholars and we are in need of all the assistance we can get. According to STATS S.A, it is estimated that if a child starts Grade R this year(2014), a complete education – including primary school, high school and three years of university – will cost just under R1 million for public school tuition, or R2,2 million for private school tuition (in nominal terms)2. As an NGO, we cannot educate our children on our own, as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child.
12 year old Siphiwe has a dream to be a lawyer after finishing high school. He has a desire to attend to the health needs of people in his community. Your contribution to our Organisation will make it easier to ensure this dream becomes a reality.
